Alfredo Pribadi- Maps and Battle Plans
The reason I chose to do a map was because I thought it was relevent to speak about Nazi battle plans and invasions through maps. To back this up I have written descriptions on my mapps and battle plans. I have chosen to use red thumbtacks to pin countries that have been attacked on the map because red typically resembles represents aggressiveness. The battle plans i have chosen to replicate are the plans for operation barbarossa and operation sea lion because these 2 events had a great impact on WWII.I have chosen operation barbarossa as it was a turning point in WWII and Operation sea lion as this boosted the morale of british during the time. I have chosen a wooden board to pin these maps because this is what they used back then.138 words
James Ou - Uniforms
The recreation of the German uniform would be important to the audience towards the development and evolution of military uniforms from WWII to now. I created an iBook, a physical German Panzer uniform with the design process on the website as well as the change and types of WWII German military uniforms. The use of the iBook and the use of QR codes linking the iBook and the physical costume to the website was that l wanted the audience to just briefly understand the information before they were to go to the website to find out about the in-depth detail information. As the audience of many exhibition l found it terribly boring with the lack of visuals and the stack of information presented in front of me. From this experience l incorporated the negatives of many of these exhibitions to try to not make the same mistake by using interesting and engaging visuals with the physical costume and captions under each picture in the iBook and for the people that are interested in the more detailed information the website would be the way to go. 186 words
Anthony Kroeger - Poster with Propaganda
The reason I chose to make a poster containing multiple propaganda and my homemade one was because I felt that it was important for the audience to understand further about the type of propaganda posters that the Germans used to increase enlistment rates, and other reasons. The colours I chose for the poster were red, black and white. Black was the poster itself, red was the border for each poster and white was the title of the poster and the colour of the paper the posters were printed on. I chose these colours because they represent the colours of the Nazi flag. The propaganda I made was made with coffee and a candle. I decided to make my own propaganda to make it seem like a real museum exhibition, with some antique, preserved items. After viewing some other exhibitions, I realised that they were dull in colour so I made it colourful and unique. For my own propaganda I asked my parents to write the letter that I found, because they write in running writing so it would look like from WW2. 181 words
